Elizabeth Gray-King

A very warm welcome to my website, gathering together a huge range of my creative output.  From paintings to poetry, worship installations and liturgy, it shows much of my work over the years and new additions.  If you scroll across the toolbar, you’ll see the creative categories.

To the right you’ll see a list of exhibitions and residencies for this year, and information about using and purchasing any of my material.

Please feel welcome to browse and enjoy.

In case you’re curious, a note about me. I was born in the USA and have lived in the south of England for over 30 years.  I grew up painting, drawing, sewing, crafting, writing, dancing, singing and generally being creative wherever possible. Degrees, certificates and diplomas include Fine Art, Theology, Education and Management.  I was a professional portrait painter and illustrator for a number of years, became an ordained minister in the United Reformed Church and in addition to working with local churches in Temple Cowley, Oxford and Brill, Buckinhamshire, I’ve worked with the United Reformed Church in creating worship resources and supporting the continued professional development of our ministers in post. Alongside much of this, my husband and I created our own company using community development approaches to support charities and social enterprises and I teach project management a number of times a year.

With all of my background, my predominant language is visual.  And at my time in life, I have a prediliction to be theological.  Finally I can affirm that I am an artist theologian.  And I love it!
